One of the many not so wonderful sides to parenting is that it makes you even more vulnerable to the judgment of other people. Kids or not, everyone seems to think they know how to raise them the best.
This is doubly true for moms and dads who choose to share their life on social media. It opens you up to a whole other world of criticism and roasting, especially if those parenting skills don't look so hot. There are plenty of family dynamics out there that are mighty screwed up, and it doesn't take much of a hint for the discourse addicts to start giving their two cents.
Somebody who found that out to her detriment was @krystianatiana, an influencer and mom who shared a video of her caring for her newborn throughout the night while her husband slept beside her. Many viewers jumped on the idea that he was a deadbeat dad, and that she was documenting an unfair division of labor.
Krystiana specified on the original post that the reason her husband wasn't helping out was because he took on the bulk of chores and childcare for their other three kids during the day. However, many people were still not impressed with the setup. It has to be said that keeping on a ring light for your night feeds seems like a lot of unnecessary effort.
